CHILD CARE FOOD PROGRAM

Children need good nutrition to develop strong minds and healthy bodies. But good nutrition takes planning and costs money! With food prices rising, many family daycare Providers just can't afford to serve quality meals to children in their care.

FRAMAX sponsors the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). This program is part of the National School Lunch Program and is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture and the California Department of Education. The CACFP helps licensed childcare providers, and qualified license-exempt childcare providers registered on the California Trustline Registry, ensure the children in their care will receive healthy and nutritious meals. In addition to providing you with free nutritional education materials, menu-planning information, and meal service tips, the CACFP reimburses you for the nutritious meals and healthy snacks you feed the children in your care.
